Web Content Manager / Editor - Contract Position Microsoft Web Application Developer Regional Fire Program Specialist Web Content Manager / Editor - Contract Position We seek the services of an individual who will develop content management strategies for a federal government website. Content strategies will incorporate information architecture, style, branding, and performance issues, as well as audience interest. You will advise staffs and support offices in both group and one-on-one settings. Major responsibilities include customer interface to acting as a liaison between offices. Specific duties include advising on information architecture, user interfaces, solution options, and writing and editing content. Microsoft Web Application Developer The positions available will be part of a team of web application developers working with the latest state-of-the-art Microsoft technologies to develop and enhance our internal and external web applications as well as provide support for our customers. This position requires one or more years experience in the development of custom multi-tiered web applications including conceptual design, development, testing, documentation, and initial deployment. Applicant should have strong interpersonal and motivational skills as well as the requisite organizational and technical skills. Applicant should be able to demonstrate a history of success with an emphasis on achieving specific goals and delivering on deadline and should be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal applicant will have a strong programming background and be experienced in developing highly scalable multi-user web applications with Microsoft tools and technologies including Visual Studio 2003, MS SQL Server 2000, Microsoft.NET 1.1, IIS and should be proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Good user-interface and graphical design skills are a plus. Developing n-tier web applications using HTML, JavaScript, C# and SQL. Experience developing ASP.NET Web Services and Mobile Web Applications are a plus.
